Artist's Statement
I consider my work to be “Trans Avant-garde”, and recently I’ve been incorporating more portrait and landscape issues into my mix. My paintings habitually reference points mapped out on our globe -- using a latitude/longitude notion to locate exact positions commemorating events [important to me]. Especially with my paintings, each separate work is a grid coordinate on my lifetime cartography project.
