Frackin' Art: The Fine Art of Hydraulic Fracturing
A CALL FOR ARTISTS
We invite work from artists reflecting their view on hydrofracking – the benefits, the dangers, the future, the fears, or any other inspiration. There are many national and international sites where hydrofracking is an issue and artists from any locale are invited.
Submission Guidelines
- Up to three (3) entries per artist, $25 entry fee. Payable to the Oil City Arts and Culture Commission. The $25 fee is waived for Oil City residents.
- Two-dimensional work must be ready to hang. Space is limited, single entry not to exceed 4 x 4 feet, and 50 lbs.
- Three-dimensional work must be ready to exhibit. Space is limited, single entry not to exceed 4 x 4 feet of floor space, 6 feet in height, and 100 lbs.
- Jurying will be done from jpg digital images submitted on a disk as jpgs 300 dpi.
- All entries must be postmarked by Friday September 9th. No exceptions.
- The Graffiti Gallery reserves the right to refuse work that is not exhibit ready.
